Opportunities From: Connecticut Forest & Park Association

Volunteer: PULL TOGETHER - 8/8 Invasive Plant Work Party at Field Forest

Join us for a hands-on morning of habitat restoration as we tackle Asiatic bittersweet, winged euonymus, Japanese barberry, and other invasive plants at Field Forest in Durham. This is a great chance to connect with fellow stewards, get your hands dirty, and give back to the landscape. No prior experience needed—just bring your energy and enthusiasm!

Read more about CFPA's Field Forest here.  Please prepare for the weather, including bug spray, sunscreen, hat, and water. If you have work gloves, please bring them. We will have extra.

We will meet at the trailhead behind Coginchaug Regional High School (135 Pickett Ln UNIT A, Durham, CT 06422) where there's plenty of parking. If you are facing the football field, the parking area is just to the left.
