Volunteer Opportunity: Represent CFPA at REI West Hartford!
We’re looking for a friendly volunteer to staff a Connecticut Forest & Park Association table at REI on one of the following dates: May 9, 10, 15, or 16 from 12–1 PM.
Linda is happy to give you a quick coaching session beforehand if
helpful. It’s a great way to connect with people who already love the
outdoors and introduce them to CFPA’s work.
Your role is simple and enjoyable:
- Pick up CFPA tabling materials in advance
- Set up at REI with help from the store manager
- Spend an hour sharing who we are and what we do - You won’t need to “sell”—our brochures and Blue-Blazed Trail map do most of the talking.
- Customers love browsing, asking questions, and often leave with CFPA info in hand.
