Join CFPA to finish the Furnace Brook Bridge Rebuild Project on the Mohawk Trail. Help is needed to complete the decking, railings, abutments and steps.
Come prepared to get wet, dirty and have fun. There is a short hike from the trailhead to the worksite. At times we may need to get in the water, bushwhack, and hike off-trail on uneven terrain.
Please bring LOTS of water, snacks, bug spray, sun block, lunch, rain gear, work gloves, backpack to carry your gear, and any personal items you need to spend a few hours in the woods. Please be sure to wear long pants & sturdy closed-toe shoes. No pets please.
We will meet at 10:00am at the Hubbard Field. Please be prompt, once we begin our hike to the worksite you may not be able to find us! Directions to parking are here: Google Directions Link
