Join CFPA for a work party to set stepping stones and sidehill a section of trail. All tools provided. All skills welcome. Come prepared to get dirty and have fun. We will be working in potential uneven, rocky terrain. Project is a minimal hike from road.
Wayne, CFPA Volunteer Leader, will meet you on Milford St (Rt 69), Burlington, CT at 9:00 am. Directions to parking are here: Google Directions Link. Please make sure to park completely off of the road.
Please bring LOTS of water (even more than you think you'll need), snacks, bug spray, bug net, sunblock, lunch, rain gear, work gloves, backpack to carry your gear, and any personal items you need to spend a few hours in the woods. Be sure to wear long pants & sturdy closed-toe shoes, long sleeves are recommended. There is always the risk of poison ivy and ticks. No pets please.
