Join Bob Andrews, one of CFPA's trail managers on the northern end of the Pequot Trail to help restore damage done after a telephone pole installation. Work will primarily be fixing the foot path. All tools provided. All skills welcome. Come prepared to get dirty and have fun. We will be working in uneven and rocky terrain.
Please bring lots of water, snacks, bug spray, sun block, snack, rain gear, work gloves, backpack to carry your gear, and any personal items you need to spend a few hours in the woods. Please be sure to wear long pants & sturdy closed-toe shoes. There is always the risk of poison ivy, mosquitos, and ticks. No pets please.
Bob will meet you at the Pequot Northern Terminus area at 9AM, where people can street park and meet at the trailhead. Directions to parking are here: Google Directions Link.
Thanks for your support of CFPA and the Blue-Blazed Hiking Trails!
