Project Learning Tree (PLT) is an acclaimed environmental education curriculum that helps educators use the outdoors as their classrooms and provides resources that help teachers include forests, wildlife, and important environmental issues in their curriculum. We are looking for volunteers who are comfortable outdoors and in front of groups, who have the desire to support Connecticut's educators in using high quality forest-based educational practices.
PLT Facilitators help to lead teacher training workshops throughout the state, and receive special training on PLT's resources. Prior knowledge of PLT is helpful, but not required.
