CFPA offers a variety of educational programs focused on forest stewardship, wildlife, conservation, recreation, and environmental literacy. Our mission is to connect people with the outdoors, exploring Connecticut's forests and parks, while fostering a deeper understanding of our natural world and inspiring the next generation of environmental leaders.
We’re seeking passionate volunteers who enjoy working with people of all ages in nature to help us with outreach and programming. Volunteers are needed statewide to support school groups, community youth organizations, and adult learning programs like the Master Woodland Manager and Master Naturalist programs. No prior knowledge or experience is required—while it’s a plus, we provide the training you need. Our Environmental Education Volunteer Orientation is offered twice a year to ensure you feel confident and ready to engage with our diverse audiences. Join us and make a lasting impact on your community and the environment!
