Join CFPA to clear and open a trail relocation on the Mattabesett Trail in Durham & Madison. Work will include cutting and clearing brush and some sidehill trail construction. All tools provided. All skills welcome. Come prepared to get dirty and have fun. There is a short hike from the trailhead to the worksite. At times we will be bushwhacking and off-trail on uneven and steep terrain.
Please bring LOTS of water, snacks, bug spray, sun block, lunch, rain gear, work gloves, backpack to carry your gear, and any personal items you need to spend a few hours in the woods. Please be sure to wear long pants & sturdy closed-toe shoes. No pets please.
We will meet at 9:30am at the trailhead. Please be prompt, once we begin our hike to the worksite you will not be able to find us! Directions to parking are here: Google Directions Link
