Join CFPA to Work on the Red Trail Relo in Hebron, CT. The primary work will include clearing trail corridor and digging trail tread. All tools provided. All skills welcome. Come prepared to get dirty and have fun. At times there may be uneven and steep terrain.
Harleigh of the Connecticut Woodlands Conservation Corps will meet you at the parking area and take you to where the project work will begin.
Please bring LOTS of water, snacks, bug spray, sun block, lunch, rain gear, work gloves, backpack to carry your gear, and any personal items you need to spend a few hours in the woods. Please be sure to wear long pants & sturdy closed-toe shoes. No pets please.
We will meet at 9:30am at the Gay City State Park in Hebron At the parking area on the right side (North) where the road is split with a grassy median. Directions to parking are here: Google Directions Link
