Join CFPA to Work on the Pomperaug Trail in Oxford, CT. The primary work will include Rehabing Sidehill trail tread to imporove drainage. All tools provided. All skills welcome. Come prepared to get dirty and have fun. At times there may be uneven and steep terrain.
Harleigh of the Connecticut Woodlands Conservation Corps will meet you at the parking area and take you to where the project work will begin.
Please bring LOTS of water, snacks, bug spray, sun block, lunch, rain gear, work gloves, backpack to carry your gear, and any personal items you need to spend a few hours in the woods. Please be sure to wear long pants & sturdy closed-toe shoes. No pets please.

Parking along the road is limited. If I am told people are carpooling I can open it to more people. There is Plenty of work!
