Join CFPA to Work on the Mohawk Trail Relo in Canaan, CT near Deans Ravine. This relo will shorten the road walk west of the waterfall. The primary work will include clearing trail corridor and digging trail tread and blazing the trail. All tools provided. All skills welcome. Come prepared to get dirty and have fun. At times there may be uneven and steep terrain.
Harleigh CFPA's Assistant Trails Coordinator will meet you and take you to where the project work will begin.
Please bring LOTS of water, snacks, bug spray, sun block, lunch, rain gear, work gloves, backpack to carry your gear, and any personal items you need to spend a few hours in the woods. Please be sure to wear long pants & sturdy closed-toe shoes. There is always the risk of poison ivy and ticks. No pets please.
