Join CFPA to Work on the Quinnipiac Trail near Brooks Rd in Bethany, CT. The primary work will include improving drainage structures and improving the general quality of the trail. All tools provided. All skills welcome. Come prepared to get dirty and have fun. At times there may be uneven and steep terrain.
Phil A CFPA Trail Manager and Sawyer will meet you at the parking area and take you to where the project work will begin.
Please bring LOTS of water, snacks, bug spray, sun block, lunch, rain gear, work gloves, backpack to carry your gear, and any personal items you need to spend a few hours in the woods. Please be sure to wear long pants & sturdy closed-toe shoes. There is always the risk of poison ivy and ticks. No pets please.
