Join CFPA, DEEP, New England Mt Bike Association (NEMBA) for a half-day of trail improvements in the Nepaug State Forest. Projects will vary but are likely to include a trail relocation, blazing new trails and closing off illegal trails. All skills welcome. Come prepared to get dirty and have fun. At times there may be uneven and steep terrain. There is a hike into the worksite.
Please bring LOTS of water, snacks, bug spray, sun block, lunch, rain gear, work gloves, backpack to carry your gear, and any personal items you need to spend a few hours in the woods. Please be sure to wear long pants & sturdy closed-toe shoes. There is always the risk of poison ivy and ticks. No pets please.
