Are you up to record issues on the New England National Scenic Trail? NET partners are rolling out a new monitoring app, and we need volunteers to start helping us collect data! Please join us for a training session on the app features, NET specific instructions, and general app practice.
The monitoring will use a system called RIMS (Recreation Impact Monitoring System), which was developed by the Colorado Mountain Club and has been used all over the nation. The app will help our trail managers keep track of developing and frequent issues, and understand what their sections of trail need as well as help help CFPA and the NPS plan management and funding! We will meet in the CFPA Meeting Room at 10 am. Please dress to spend some time outside practicing with the app.
